Ken Buck, who has recently established himself as the frontrunner for the GOP Senate nomination, now appears to be the stronger general election candidate according to Rasmussen's monthly Colorado survey.
Rasmussen's telephone survey of 500 Colorado voters has Buck beating incumbent Michael Bennet 48%-39%. The poll also has Buck beating Bennet's Democratic challenger Andrew Romanoff 47%-42%.
Similar to previous months, the poll shows Buck performing better than his Republican opponent, Jane Norton, against both potential Democratic nominees. This month's poll has Norton beating Romanoff 44% to 42% and Bennet 47%-42%.
The Poll has a 4.5% margin for error.
Primaries will be held on August 10.
