Michael Bennet Raised $1.24 Million In Second Quarter

Senator Michael Bennet reported another impressive fundraising quarter this week, adding another $1.24 million to his already-formidable total.

Bennet has now raised $7.44 million, more money than all of the other Senate candidates combined.

The Republicans running for Senate--Jane Norton and Ken Buck--announced earlier in the week that they had raised $900,000 and $417,000, respectively.

Bennet's Democratic primary opponent, former Speaker of the State House Andrew Romanoff has not announced his second-quarter fundraising totals. Romanoff, who is not accepting PAC donations to his campaign, has struggled to keep up with Bennet's fundrasing pace. He got a boost, however, when former President Bill Clinton sent an email urging supporters to donate in the final days of the second quarter.
