Alyssa Milano Old Spice Response: WATCH Her Issue Oil Spill Challenge (VIDEO)

UPDATE: Alyssa Milano has told The Huffington Post that Old Spice responded to her video response and made an "extremely generous" donation to a Gulf-area nonprofit, 9th Ward Field Of Dreams. We'll continue to update with specifics regarding the donation, when available.

Alyssa Milano has been as into the Old Spice campaign as anyone, sending messages to the Old Spice man via her Twitter account (and getting responses).

Now Milano is using the attention that has come with the viral campaign, and her nearly one million Twitter followers, to raise awareness about doing social good.

Milano tweeted a video Wednesday afternoon that uses a play on words and some fun to extend a challenge to the Old Spice man to keep their "relationship" going.

"Here is your next move," she explains. "You must make a $100,000 donation to the National Wildlife Federations Gulf Oil Spill Restoration Fund. Are you strong enough?"

Come on people. Read the article. The Old Spice company made the donation (which was her intent) and they can well afford it. It is more publicity for them.

I love Old Spice. Their new extra-strength antiperspirant is the most effective one I've come across yet. And it doesn't color my white undershirts. No, I'm not a paid spokesman, but I do play one on television. ; )

Isn't BP paying for everything they messed up down there? why should this poor guy/Amazing actor (unlike her, and you can see it by her terrible acting in this stupid video) pay for that... and if she thinks she's going to get Old Spice to pay for this, then she'll be killing this Awesome Ad Campaign, because the client gave the creatives the liberty to do it, now it won't happen again... ever Thanks Alyssa

Old Spice made a donation, which is a classy move and good public relations. Kudos to them, if I am making a decision between an Old Spice product and their competitor I will likely choose Old Spice.

Wait, does she really think this guy HAS $100,000? Wasn't he a struggling actor before the Old Spice commercial that made him well known? If she's going to solicit (and yes, I used that word intentionally) money from someone, shouldn't she go for someone with a bigger checkbook who can really afford the $100,000? I don't know, maybe someone with a show syndication...like her.
