Chelsea Clinton's Wedding Invite List Revealed!

Ever since news broke that Chelsea Clinton was in fact marrying her beau, Marc Mezvinsky, the question has been who will attend the 500-guest festivities? We knew Al and Tipper weren't going, but until today we could only speculate as to which notables would be invited.

It turns out there's a serious mix of star power that may be showing up for the soon-to-be bride. From television personalities, to titans of industry, Clinton-family friends from across fields were invited to the big day. Oprah Winfrey, who campaigned against Hillary in the 2008 election, had her presence requested; as did long-time Clinton supporters Barbra Streisand and Steven Spielberg.

Of course it wouldn't be a Clinton affair without heavy-weight political figures. Terry McAuliffe, Clinton adviser and fundraiser; Former British Prime Minister John Major, who was in office the same time as Bill Clinton; and President Obama were all on the list. According to the Hudson Valley News, Astor Court in Rhinebeck, where the wedding will take place, will be flooded with security on July 31.

I grew up in Arkansas the same time as Chelsea, so I pretend to claim a relation that doesn't exist. However I am happy for the bride to be, and I wish her the best. :)

Comparing two daughters of politically well-connected parents as their respective wedding days approach:

Chelsea Clinton: Stanford University (BA History); University College, Oxford University in England (MA International Relations); first employer was the prestigious business consulting firm McKinsey & Co.; presently studying public health and management at Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health.

Bristol Palin: Wasilla High School; presently working in a dermatologist's office in Anchorage and taking business courses at a local community college.
