What is clear to me is this: NO religion has the right to dictate what others of different beliefs can or cannot do. This is religious persecution, plain and simple. This amendment, and all others like it, are based in one religious belief concerning a fetus. Colorado, as is all of the United States, is made up of multiple cultures and religious beliefs, many of which believe the fetus is not a person until months into the pregnancy, with some believing true life begins at the moment of birth.

Being in Colorado, I'm so tired of going through this every election cycle. I just wish there was a way to end it.....like stipulating that the separation of church and state excludes initiatives based in religious beliefs that strive to limit the religious freedoms of others because that's exactly what this and all the other "personhood" amendments are trying to do. Turn women into 2nd class citizens based on religious dogma. Hmmm, sounds like another country we're familiar with.

1.) Men have no business EVER offering an opinion on abortion, period, end of story.
2.) There is not a 3rd person in the room the moment the guy comes, sorry.
3.) Meanwhile, the death penalty fine and
4.) You can't throw a rock without hitting a Viagra or Cialis commercial.

HOW are they planning to MONITOR EVERY SINGLE prenancy???

Who is going to MONITOR ALL pregnant women??- every DAY to make sure NObody gets an abortion??

Why do women have to be subjected to daily montiroing?? What kind of freedom or civil liberties should I expect when I get pregnant???

Oh, whatever. The simple truth is the last time this initiative was on the ballot, 77% of Coloradans voted against it, and it won't pass this time either. I even signed the petition to get it on the ballot so I could once again feel the pleasure of voting against it! Let's get away from this red herring, wedge issue and concentrate on something important, like bringing more jobs to the state. Pregnant women will have less incentive to abort if they and their fetuses' fathers have the means to support a baby.

They are not trying to ban abortion. They are trying to control peoples choices over their own bodies. If a first trimester obortion is "murder" of a person...why would not these people be contraceptive advocates? You know...cut down down on murders. Its about a perverted notion of hunan sexuality....a box people will sign checks for....and you have to admit....much better discussion material than the justice of the "pay scale" in America.
