Nevada Senate Race Poll
Harry Reid Leads Sharron Angle In Nevada Senate Race (POLL)

LAS VEGAS — A new poll shows Senate Democratic Majority Leader Harry Reid with a slight edge over Republican opponent and tea party favorite Sharron Angle in the campaign leading to the November election.

The statewide telephone survey gives Reid a 44 percent to 37 percent lead over Angle, with a sampling error margin of plus or minus 4 percentage points.

Ten percent of 625 likely voters surveyed statewide Monday through Wednesday were undecided. Five percent said they would choose Nevada's none-of-the-above option, and 4 percent wanted someone else.

The poll was conducted by Washington, D.C.-based Mason-Dixon Polling & Research for the Las Vegas Review-Journal and Las Vegas CBS affiliate KLAS-TV.

Reid just gave a speech where he proudly proclaimed the government bailout saved thousands of jobs at Ford Motor Company....

The problem? Ford never took any of the bailout money! Poor Harry! video here...

I live in Nevada. Washoe county to be specific. The reality in this state is, regardless of what polls are going to tell you. Harry Reid will destroy Sharron Angle in the election. Polls have to be from a cross section of the entire state. Unfortunately for Angle 85% of the votes come from Clark and Washoe county. And even though there are those that have had enough of Harry, there are still those that know you don't trade the Top Dog for the Last in Line.

Hopefully??????????

WASHINGTON—Democrats for the first time are acknowledging that Republicans could retake the Senate this November if everything falls into place for the GOP, less than two years after Democrats held a daunting 60-seat majority.

Chuck Todd and his so called "polls" were the only ones that believe that somebody like an Angle could ever POSSIBLY win in Nevada. Come on, really?

Reid should issue a challenge to debate. Daily. The Angle campaign cannot handle pressure. If you don't believe this, call them up and ask for comment on her statements. Better yet, challenge them on her statements.

I demanded an explanation of what "second amendment remedies" were. First they said that it was a misquote and then they tried to explain it as another way of saying "second amendment rights." I have many stories to tell about calling them but I urge all of you to call the Las Vegas and Reno HQ and read direct quotes of hers and demand explanations.

Do the same for (Ayn) Rand Paul. Keep the pressure on these goons between now and election day. They must fail.

I live in Nevada and I always see people with bumper stickers saying "Dump Harry Reid" or "Vote For Anybody But Harry Reid". First of all I felt that was a tasteless display of voter support or opposition. What really got me was today while I was working ( I do pest control in Las Vegas), I had a house in an exclusive gated community(golf course and all). While I was driving to my next stop in this community with $3,000,000 homes an older man was driving his golf cart and on the front of his golf cart read a sign that said "Vote For Anybody But Harry Reid". I mean on a freaking golf cart in a gated community where everyone makes over $250,000(hence tax increase for the rich) and nobody is receiving unemployment benefits! Then I realized the Repugs only care about the rich and not the middle class or those who are in need .They(the wealthy) don`t want to pay a higher tax rate and they think others are acting like they have entitlements because that older man definitely was not concerned about losing his home or job. These are the people that Sharron Angle are trying to win over and they have many motives behind it. The one thing that I also know for a fact is that the rich is a small majority and they won`t muster up enough votes for Angle to win the election.”

As one gains great wealth...the empathy usually lessons for those without. It seems to be human nature. One gets a mansion...one says.."I deserve this and too bad for those that didn't work hard enough."...When I was in high school, during a canned goods drive for the needy, I and two friends also went out to collect cans...as the homes got bigger, the number of cans given decreased, until we hit the mansions...one man came to the door with his small son..and accused us of lying...like we were trying to swindle him out of a 20 cent can of vegetables...he gave nothing...those with the least emptied their cabinets and gave us all they had..I'll never forget that lesson.

Angle will not win here. She's even much too extreme for Republicans, it seems! 'Republicans for Reid' says it all!

I wasn't a fan of Reid's for a long time as he seemed so mousy and ineffective but he's grown on me for being able to 'herd the cats' in the Senate with various deaths and replacements and the constantly changing loyalties. He seems to 'walk softly and carries a big stick' after all and that's what will have him win if he does.

Sometimes a person can produce the needed results even when they don't fit my pictures of what a powerful Majority Leader should look like. My favorite example is FDR, an ailing, old man in a wheelchair who led us through the Great Depression and World War II. He may have not done it perfectly but who'd a thunk he could have done it at all over almost 4 terms?

I have to laugh when various presidential appointees and staffers have to leave after 1 term or less due to the pressure of the job.

Somebody's Angle is dangling. TeaParty be warned; if you drive too close to the edge of a cliff you run the risk of going over.

Go Harry Go, my 3 relatives in NV will sign your dance card and they've never been polled. They even admit to not always voting but they have promised not to miss this election.
