Reverend Ken Dupin Creates First Mobile Medical Care Home For The Elderly

Local residents looking for medical care will be surprised to find out they might not have to go far to receive the care they need. Rev. Ken Dupin, founder of N2Care, has introduced a new state-of-the-art hospital room that can temporarily be placed on a caregiver's property for extended medical care. Called MedCottage, this mobile medical home allows families to directly participate in their loved ones' recovery.

In a recent interview on the CBS Evening News, Rev. Dupin explains how he came up with the MedCottage idea. While overseas on mission trips, he noticed that care-taking involved the whole family. He created these cottages to make it easier for family members to care of their families. Each house has a camera system in case a patient falls, as well as equipment to assist in daily medical monitoring.

With the population of senior citizens due to increase dramatically, the idea of having a portable medical care facility could be a good alternative to the typical nursing home.
