Fall Foliage Trip: MSC Leaf Peeping Cruise To Set Sail In October

Trip We Want To Take: Fall Foliage Cruise

Chalk it up to our East Coast upbringing, but we're dying to go on a proper fall "leaf-peeping" trip. The leaves in Vermont, Massachusetts, even upstate New York turn all shades of GORGEOUS come mid-September. So when we read that there was a deal on a fall foliage cruise through Canada and parts of New England from European line MSC, we got just a tiny bit excited for fall (plus this extreme heat is definitely making us over summer fast).

MSC has only one ship based in the U.S. this year, and the line is sailing it from New York for a 13-night trip for $899 per person (or less than $70 a day), according to USA Today.

The trip starts on October 16 and includes stops in the ports of Halifax, Nova Scotia; Sydney, Nova Scotia; Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island; Quebec City, Quebec (for an overnight stay); Boston; and Newport, Rhode Island. The line is also offering shorter trips of six, seven and nine night cruises starting at $499 per person.
