Most of us seek balance in our lives, but few of us have turned it into an art form. Eskil Ronningsbakken is the exception. “Other people might see this as stupid, but to me it’s about being free and able to do what I want in my life.” (Sindre Lundvold/Barcroft Media/Getty Images, p. 21)

The apartment building photo is a photoshopped proposal from 2008. It doesn't actually exist yet. Good research HP!

If you are Guillaume Nery, you don't need an underwater car, you just take a deep breath and stay underwater as long as you like. Easy!

#3 -- Kung Fun? Guess the rest of the quote was correct: "seems like a mass of contradictions to a Western mind..." especially in relation to spell checking.

I'm trying to understand how taking a picture of a surfer in a barrel is somehow amazing. Photogs have been doing that for many years.

It's about what goes into taking the picture: "Aichner dons a pair of snorkeling fins and then waits –treading water, holding his camera, and hoping for the perfect shot. Being in the right place at the right time can mean staying in the ocean for up to three hours at a time."

Green is for hippies, hence weird, wacky, and extreme.
