Robert Shapiro Quits Lindsay Lohan

TMZ has learned Bob Shapiro informed the judge in Lindsay Lohan's case, he's no longer representing her.

It is unclear who will represent Lindsay tomorrow when she will turn herself in.

Odds are he used her for the publicity of his facility and when she did not want to play ball he dumped her. And if that is the case, he should be ashamed of himself.

He said he would represent her provided she would take ALL his advice -- which included that she get clean. She is clearly a full-blown addict-alcoholic, so she probably had no intention of obeying that.

Actually, it looks like this attorney doesn't want to be there, but has to be there. She had not gotten around to signing the sustitution of attorney document yet, a formality since Shapiro was taking Lohan as a client. But with Shapiro quitting, and her not yet having signed it, she was on the hook to represent Lohan. Somebody's secretary is going to get yelled at for not getting that document over to the courthouse sooner.

An attorney isn't require or needed to "turn yourself in".

She must walk through the door. The attorney can't go with her.

She has to report to court and appears before the judge first.
