Enjoying a nude beach or nudist resort is not about how people look, attractive, not attractive. It's about freedom, the freedom to enjoy the sun, sand, and surf without interference from clothes. For those of you who are afraid to be nude in public, afraid to see nude bodies, don't go to a nude beach or nudist resort. But, for heavens sake, don't deny me the freedom to have a safe and maintained beach where I can enjoy the pleasure of being au naturel.

Why do you care? If you don't enjoy being nude at the beach, that's your deal. But why deny others the freedom to enjoy nudity at a beach designated for that purpose.

I have never been to a nude beach, but I have seen enough pictures of nudist colonies and resorts to know that they are no where near as sexy as they are presented in the media.

Normally the people most willing to get naked are those who are the least attractive whilst naked.

There are some attractive people looking to be free from the shackles of clothing, but more often than not it seems is uggos and fatsos.

What they're not telling you about Black's Beach is that you take your life in your hands walking down the steep trail to get to the damnthing. Coming back up the trail is no peach, either!

Thanks for making the case for why we need more legal nude beaches. Though I'm not aware of any one falling to their death while trying to get to Black's Beach, why don't we have more legal, and safe to get to, nude beaches?

People always think nude beaches are for nudity. Not so! They are for being totally natural under the sun and in the water.

NOTHING beats gliding through pristine waters with only skin between your bones and the ocean.

Meh, let's face it, not that many people look great naked. Even going to a beach where people are bathing suit clad, I don't see many that make me sit up and take notice. Pass.

Also, I'm not sure I want to see, or be seen, applying sun screen to the most sensitive areas in a public place.

I was at Haulover last Sunday. I really cooked my butt too, but its better than tan lines. I just love that beach. It sure beats sitting around in a soggy wet bathing suit all day.

There is some bad reporting here. South Beach has no nude area. The "Haulover Park" reference is the same as beach #12 - Haulover Beach in Sunny Isles, FL, about a half hour drive North of South Beach.

people sunbathe topless on south beach all the time... never seen anyone fully nude though
