Campbell Brown Signs Off From CNN With Celebration (VIDEO)

CELEBRATE! Campbell Brown Signs Off CNN

Campbell Brown wrapped up her time at CNN Wednesday night, signing off from the network with a positive and celebratory tone.

"For those who may not already know, this is my last night hosting this program," she said at the end of Wednesday's show. "And to each of you who tuned in every night — or even every now and then — thank you. I mean that. I have already said pretty much everything I want to say about me. But I cannot say enough about the people who work on this show. They are the most talented, dedicated, loyal, caring group of people. I have really loved working with each and every one of them."

At that point, the show's staff came out and greeted Brown in the studio with flowers and champagne, and applause filled the room.

Brown announced in May that she would step down from the program due to the show's sluggish ratings. A panel show hosted by Eliot Spitzer and Kathleen Parker will debut in the 8PM time slot in the fall; until then, Rick Sanchez will act as a placeholder, hosting "Rick's List" at 8PM.
