'Challenging' White iPhone 4 Delayed AGAIN

CUPERTINO, Calif. — Where's the white iPhone 4? It's been delayed--again!

Apple says the white version of the iPhone 4 will not be available until later this year, due to manufacturing issues.

Apple had originally said the phones would be available in late July.

Apple said in a statement the white gadgets have been more difficult to manufacture than expected:

White models of Apple’s new iPhone® 4 have continued to be more challenging to manufacture than we originally expected, and as a result they will not be available until later this year. The availability of the more popular iPhone 4 black models is not affected.

It did not say when the white models will be available.
