STREAMING LIVE NOW: SPIN Magazine Celebrates 25 Years With 5 Concerts, In New York And On Your Computer

SPIN Magazine, born in 1985 to Bob Guccione Jr. as an alternative to Rolling Stone, is celebrating their quarter century with five nights of concerts in New York - and they're streaming them live each night this week in all their HD glory, in association with Zync from American Express. Last night, The Smashing Pumpkins played followed tonight by The Flaming Lips. Wednesday will see The Black Keys on stage, with The National and Spiritualized rounding out the week.

Known for pushing the envelope, SPIN Magazine has become an industry stalwart in their short 25 years. They've seen artists from Henry Rollins to David Lee Roth and writers from Dave Eggers to William S. Burroughs provide editorial contributions and they made a name for themselves by featuring bands like The Sex Pistols, Blondie, and The Ramones. Happy Birthday, SPIN.
