Princeton Mistreated Lab Primates, Report Says

The U.S. Department of Agriculture recently discovered that Princeton University was mishandling primates used in animal research. According to the inspection report detailed in the Newark Star-Ledger, a lab at the university did not give the animals sufficient water and inappropriately doled out painkillers.

According to the Associated Press, the problems in the Princeton labs are being fixed.

Just this past January, the organization Stop Animal Exploitation Now protested another university's treatment of animals. According to the Daily of the University of Washington, activists stood outside UW's Washington Primate Research Center after the Seattle Times reported that a primate starved to death in the facility.
