SPIN Magazine Celebrates 25 Years With 5 Great Concerts, Tonight: The National

STREAMING LIVE NOW: SPIN Magazine Concerts Celebrate 25 Years. Tonight: The National

SPIN Magazine, born in 1985 to Bob Guccione Jr. as an alternative to Rolling Stone, is celebrating their quarter century with five nights of concerts in New York - and they're streaming them live each night this week in all their HD glory, in association with Zync from American Express.

Known for pushing the envelope, SPIN Magazine has become an industry stalwart in their short 25 years. They've seen artists from Henry Rollins to David Lee Roth and writers from Dave Eggers to William S. Burroughs provide editorial contributions and they made a name for themselves by featuring bands like The Sex Pistols, Blondie, and The Ramones. Happy Birthday, SPIN.

Tonight's concert features The National with opening acts Kurt Vile and Suckers. If you haven't watched this week, you missed The Smashing Pumpkins on Monday, The Flaming Lips on Tuesday, and last night's performance by The Black Keys. Cancel your Friday night plans and watch Spiritualized's live show.
