The Mast brothers take chocolate very seriously.
For these two Williamsburg-based artisans, it's a sweet way of life.
In a short film created by The Scout, Rick and Michael explain their handcrafted approach to chocolate.
They get cocoa beans from family farms in places like Madagascar, Venezuela and the Dominican Republic and follow them every step of the way until they've produced a handwrapped, homemade delicacy.
"It's an old mentality that's become new," Rick says of the process. "I think it's spreading like wildfire."
