I am BITTER that we only made #8 this year. That's pathetic. Where's the school spirit? Where's the PRIDE? Has Del Playa lost its mojo?

Teaching at DePauw was interesting, especially when I taught an 8:00 a.m. class - when the students still smell like beer, you know it's hard-core!

My alma mater is in Eastern Europe. Graduated during the wild times after the fall of communism when everything went. Organic chemistry lab. Class: distillation.Experiment: increase the proof of commercial vodka to 150, then infuse orange peels. Last: taste it. Needless to say we all got busted, including the professor. Example number 2: theoretical mechanics: took a case of beer to class. Result: messed up Hamiltonians. Example 3: graduation ceremony: one week open air discotheque in the dorm's parking lot. Alcohol of any kind allowed. After a week the firetruck came to clean the place. The campus had many small private bars, some open 24/7. You could have parties during the weekend in the dorm with alcohol, music and any guests until 3am. All you needed was the written permission of the people who lived in the two rooms next to yours. Oh, and although we had dorms based on gender, you could stay over night if you left your student ID at the entrance.

The Dawgs & Gators hold the world’s largest outdoor cocktail party in Jacksonville every year, since 1915. That's hard for any two schools to top.

This list is incomplete without the University of Kentucky at Lexington. Then there is the Indiana University at Bloomington. Come on folks, you missed the best ones!
