It's official: Conde Nast is moving Downtown.

The publishing company signed a deal to relocate its headquarters from Times Square to the skyscraper at Ground Zero once slated to be called the Freedom Tower.

The official move is scheduled for 2014.

Rumors of a change in location were reported in May.

Conde Nast publishes The New Yorker, Vanity Fair, Vogue and 15 other magazines.

Not everyone is a fan of the move, but perhaps the publishing giant's brand of chic is just what Lower Manhattan needs.
