Mike The Situation Bones

ew.com:

Bones is jumping on the Jersey Shore bandwagon in a big way. Series creator Hart Hanson confirms to me exclusively that he has approached Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino to guest star in an upcoming episode inspired by the MTV phenom.

"We're trying to get The Situation to play a murder victim," Hanson reveals. "A guido is killed and Booth and Brennan enter that world to find out what happens. We're not sure if it'll happen or not. Talks are ongoing."

corpse on a csi is a TV role? ha!

I heard Best Buy is looking for loading dock employees for 'TV jobs', too.

As long as he plays a corpse...that's only JUST outside his range, maybe they can use technology to make it look like he pulled it off.

Who ARE the people who actually like Jersey Shore? Do you know any? Have you ever talked to any or seen any? I just can't figure out where the demo is for this. Maybe the people I surround myself with just aren't knuckle-dragging enough.

What a bunch of haters...you guys don't have to like the Jersey Shore crew, but do any of you find it necessary to call them names and belittle them...does that make you feel superior to these guys...do you trash the Real World kids the same way...they drink, party and fuc'k...what's the difference?!?

the real world folks are at least usually smart kids looking toward the future... these twits glory in being dumb. of course, I don't think any of these crews should be treated like truly talented actors, filmmakers, or singers.

"'The Situation' Gets A TV Offer" - yea, it must have been from Costco - "Buy a 47-inch diagonal flat screen or larger and get free home delivery and set up." That's the only offer I would imagine he could or would get.

Playing dead are the only thing these white trash 'celebrities' are qualified to do.
03:11 PM on 08/04/2010
A murder victim? So he just lays there? He is underqualified.

The mob should put cement shoes on this dolt and hurl him overboard into the Gulf to help plug up the Deep Horizon hole.

Call it "Operation Hairgel".

Love the Lemmy avatar!!

I agree this guy is a pox on society...but, on the other hand, he's living the American dream and striking while the iron is hot...

Why should this suprise anybody? Actors aren't "Artists". They are narcicistic self involved attention seekers all vying to play dress up in front of the camera. For ever Merryl Streep or Anthony Hopkins there are 10,000 Pam Anderson's, or Orlando Blooms, or Ryan Phillipee's . For anybody to act offended that a TV show cast this guy is giving too much credit to the other actors on the show. They are no different than him.

Some Actors are "Artists". What you claim to be Actors are not, they are just Celebraties. And not all seek Fame. You really should not generalize.
02:17 PM on 08/04/2010
What is the definition of an "Actor"? Somebody who acts. All of the people I mentioned have all acted in movies. They are actors. You will notice that I put Merryl Streep and Anthony Hopkins in a different catagory. But they are a small minority in Hollywood. Scratch the surface of 98% of the "Actors" in hollywood and you will find a self involved, annorexic, attention starved fame junkie.
