Today, The New York Comedy Festival (NYCF) in association with Comedy Central announced its stellar lineup for this year's festival to occur November 3-7, 2010. For seven years the NYCF has brought together hundreds of the country's best comedians for five days of stand-up in the best city in the world. This year, comedy lovers can look forward to apparances by Joel McHale, Aziz Ansari, Louis C.K., Margaret Cho, Gabriel Iglesias, Nick Swardson, Brian Regan, and many, many more.

Over 150 comedians will be performing at more than 10 venues, including Caroline's On Broadway, where club owner and NYCF Founder Caroline Hirsch has cultivated the careers of numerous stand-up comics.

"The New York Comedy Festival has become THE destination for legendary and rising comedic talent," Hirsch said. "We are excited about this year's programming that features an array of performers that are distinct, visionary and downright hilarious."

Comedian Joel McHale is thrilled to be appearing at the NYCF again this year, especially at Carnegie Hall, one of the festival's 10 venues. "To be playing Carnegie Hall is a milestone in the Festival's misjudgment, but for me it is a dream come true," McHale said.

Tickets for all shows will be available to the public Monday, August 9 through the New York Comedy Festival website, with a special presale available for CitiCard Private Pass holders starting Wednesday, August 4.

Past festival guests have included Bill Maher, Tracy Morgan, Dane Cook, Sarah Silverman, Artie Lange, Katt Williams, Steven Wright, Denis Leary, and Joy Behar, to name a few.

What are you talking about? His jokes seem pretty original to me. Please, share! If you've got anything showing the "ripped-off" material, put it here. I think he's great, and I'd hate to be wrong.

I love Joel McHale. Besides Greg Kinnear, he's the funniest host Talk Soup has ever had. I'm looking forward to the NY Comedy Festival. Wonder if Dane Cook's on the roster?
