Alia Shawkat Of 'Arrested Development' Playing In Lollapalooza Celebrity Kickball Game

Lollapalooza's Celebrity Kickball Game: Alia Shawkat, Har Mar Superstar, More

Lollapalooza is a great time to catch some international superstars around Chicago (or be fooled into thinking you did). This weekend, 100 lucky spectators will get to catch some celebrities engaging in that classic summer pastime: a game of kickball.

DO312, a guide to concerts and events in Chicago, is hosting the Celebrity Kickball Game this Saturday at Lollapalooza, where artists from the festival will accompany actors and media personalities in a rousing kickball challenge.

On the docket so far are musicians Wolfmother, Foxy Shazam and Team Bayside High, as well as actor Aaron Paul and club-owner Billy Dec.

But maybe the biggest name -- to TV fans, anyway -- is Alia Shawkat, better known as Maeby Fünke from the show "Arrested Development."

Shawkat's connection to the music scene may be through Sean Matthew Tillman (a.k.a. Har Mar Superstar), who will also be playing in the game. She appeared in the music video for his song "Tall Boy" in October of last year.

The 21-year-old actress has been in a number of films, including the Drew Barrymore-directed Whip It, where she starred alongside Ellen Page, The Runaways with Kristen Stewart and the critically acclaimed independent film Amreeka.

Shawkat and Page are now working together on writing and producing "Stitch and Bitch" for HBO, a show about two hipster girls moving from Williamsburg to LA's Silver Lake to make it as artists.

Hoping to catch Alia, Har Mar, Wolfmother and all the semi-celebrities kicking around the ol' rubber ball? Click over to the event's website and "like" it, and you'll be entered into a lottery for one of the 100 spectator seats. Otherwise, you might find yourself saying, "I've made a huge mistake."
