Julia Roberts On 'Letterman': Talks Love, Aging, Varicose Veins (VIDEO)

Julia Roberts, who doesn't believe in Botox, visited 'The Late Show' Wednesday night and Dave asked her how she stays looking "like a kid."

"Thank you," she said. "It's the love of a good man, good kids. I eat a lot."

Julia took the opportunity to set the record straight about varicose veins, mistakenly mentioned along with her name in the show's intro.

"Can I just log a tiny complaint?" she asked. "I'm in the dressing room watching, and in the intro they say 'And Tonight -- Julia Roberts!' ... and then they say, 'A problem with varicose veins?'"

Dave blamed the producers for the confusion and later asked Julia if she could ever do another 'Pretty Woman.'

"Not with these varicose veins," she joked.

She's had her bombs like almost every other Hollywood personality, but she's also had her hits, and despite the opinion of some on here , she's probably making the mortgage payments and could really give a rip if she ever does another movie.

That Erin Brockovich movie that made a Billion Dollars ended up pricing her out of movies. I wish that she was smarter and did what Sandra Bullock did and started her own production company. She's all wrong for that Eat, Pray, Love movie, but I might still see it. If she made her own movies, she would be a lot more successful at showcasing her unique talent.

I don't know what the fuss is about when it comes to Ms. Roberts. I think that she is a below average looking female who happens to make a lot of money in the make believe movie world.

Letterman is a great interviewer when it comes to detecting phoniness or BS in his interview subjects. But, over the years he's become too enamored with Julia Roberts. She's no Bonnie Hunt.

she was at her best in her early movies, 'steel magnolias' and 'pretty woman'! she was also good in that one spy-type w/denzel--that was good! but she's not all that hollywood makes her out to be as far as her movies: it's like she's this swami-movie star who can do no wrong when in fact, most of the movies she's done have been bombs!! she's very pretty but that's it IMO. just talking about her movie life not saying anything personal about family and all that. she's just not that good of an actress and this next movie does not excite me!! will wait for the dvd....

I have never liked Julia Roberts ever since I saw a pic of her with a shirt on that said A low Vera in the Enquirer. I know it was the National Enquirer, but I am sure she wore the shirt on purpose and knew she was being photographed in it. This was when she was breaking up Danny Moder's marriage. She wants all to believe she is this great person and activist, blah, blah blah,but the truth is she is a just a homewreaker.

Julia Roberts and Dave always seem to be having a lot of fun whenever she is a guest on his show. I love watching them together. Rachel Maddow 2 nights ago, Julia last night-- good work so far this week Dave.
