Pornography has no place in the public library system.

So much for the "free speech" that the right is always yelling about. I guess if it isn't their speech it should not even be allowed. Hypocrites..

If you burn a book or censor a book or in some way conspire to keep any book from any person who wants to read it, it proves one thing--- you're a rube.... A narcissistic rube who thinks your narrow way is THE way, that you know better than all others, and you have the right to deny everyone the means to be on their own path and find their own way.

We should not keep anything from anyone, because when you do, you deny their right to judge it and learn from it by themselves. At the bottom of this is whether each person will have the right to make their own determinations or whether they are to blindly accept the determinations of someone else.

The fact that Glenn Beck is involved with this speaks volumes.

A sad and shameful act that one would expect out of Alabama or Utah. Who is going to read the book except a Gay youth who is either questioning his or her identity or one who desperately needs positive role models? This is only hurting a young person who needs help and guidance. It is past time that America "grew up" regarding its whole fear of Gay People and the homophobia that it, in turn, breeds. Gays have been with humanity since the beginning of time and they are here to stay.

Roger that. No book should ever be banned.

I'd rather see them pull Jersey Shore from TV.

Can the people of NJ loudly pull their tax dollars from supporting this so-called library?
