Lady Gaga, Kate Moss & Naomi Campbell Get Separate i-D Covers After Drama (PHOTO)

First Posted: 08/08/2010 8:25 am   Updated: 05/25/2011 5:15 pm

We first heard about the i-D cover girl drama between Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and Lady Gaga last month, with a source telling the Daily Mail, "Naomi and Kate refused to play second fiddle to Gaga and insisted on having their own retouching done, so they were all shot separately." Well, today, we came across the Pre-Fall 2010 Covers for i-D...and, yes, there are indeed three different versions thanks to the prima donnas. Check out the covers below (and note Kate Moss' new 'do) and scroll down to tell us what you think.

What do you think?

Quick Poll

My favorite cover is...

Kate Moss!

Lady Gaga!

Gaga's cover sticks out like a sore thumb. Leave the modeling to the models, singers and actresses more often than not cannot do a good job.

I guess Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell represent the "Then" in the title. Are they even relevant anymore?

Considering Kate Moss recently just made her 30th appearance on Vogue (UK) as well as Naomi making records for fashion magazine covers, I'd say they're still relevant.

I'm not the biggest Gaga fan due to massive over-exposure, but at least she DOES something besides convert oxygen to carbon dioxide. :)

There is no such thing as a supermodel. It's called a hunger strike on the rag.

Gaga cover is the best. I like Kate but I hate her pro-anorexia stand, and now Naomi with this whole "blood diamond" pretending she didnt know, huge turn off. At least Gaga does something positive, example: for the gay community. Ive been to her concert and its pretty amazing. Dont knock her until you see it.

It would have been funnier if they told the three to wait right there...ten ran out to the street and grabbed the first moderately attractive female t walk by and make her the cover...and giver her the other three's money for the gig.

How about scrap all three of these manufactured pre-madonnas for someone else...

Kate Moss - Tacitly supports pro-ana

Naomi Campbell - Childish blood diamond lover

Lady Gag-Her - Lame Madonna impersonator.

***right... and you'll look better than any of these three women on the cover***

Are you naive enough to think that how a person looks on a magazine cover is a true picture of their actual appearance?

Maybe it's just me, and I am not trying to be insulting, but Lady Gaga is very, very ordinary looking. Not attractive at all, actually. She's a good writer, singer and musician, but if she wants her life to be her art I would suggest a series of masks, like Peter Gabriel, because that face is a 2 at best.

rel77-you're not insulting at all. it just means we don't have to look gorgeous to make it big.
when I look at Lady Gaga it reminds me of the fact that we can all make it big/ reach our goals if we're willing to work as hard as she did, acknowledge our flaws and rise above them. study her bio. I would not want her to wear a mask. her face means a lot more to me than the most beautiful supermodel's.

You're absolutely correct Maria, and again, I think she's very, very talented. I wish her (and you) all the best. Allow me to be your first fan, and thank you for a very civil reply.

You are correct. She is definitely not a classic beauty. What makes her hot though is her extreme confidence in who she is without caring what anyone thinks.

Gaga is over-exposed, but the other two b-words are just envious.

Wow. Two models and a beast. One of these (and I can't stress this word enough) THINGS is not like the others. gaga is truly a hideous caricature of a (*horrific creature pending*).

despite people like you Gaga made it big.

Here's to hoping that her failure is just as big...

None of them look their best here. Honestly. It's like a comedy/action chick-flick.... like Charlie's Angels or the Mod Squad gone horribly wrong.

Yikes!

Kate's new haircut is fab. Gaga always a great image. Why does Naomi still do this, when she hates it so much?
