22-year-old forward Javier Hernandez excelled for Mexico during the World Cup, and the young sensation broke out during his first game with Manchester United in a most unexpected way.
In the 76th minute of a match against Chelsea in the Community Shield, the new Man U player kicked the ball off his face and into the goal to pad his team's lead. Manchester United went on to win, 3-1.
"It's unbelievable to score and win this match," Hernandez said after the game. "It's an unusual goal I scored."
