Maddox Jolie-Pitt Turns 9 With Go-Karting

He still has a way to go before he can get a driver's license, but Maddox Jolie-Pitt, who turned 9 on Aug. 5, hit the race track during a belated birthday celebration with his family on Saturday.

Dad Brad, mom Angelina, brother Pax, 6, and sisters Zahara, 5, and Shiloh, 4, joined Maddox and friends for a private party at Go Kart World in Carson, Calif.

One thing I have to say about the Jolie-Pitt family is the two of them don't spend thousands of dollars spoiling their kids on their birthdays by having huge parties and all that. I like how they keep it low key and fun.

When the parents have no discernable acting talent like Brad and Angelina. The kids, the love life etc will be used.

Gosh I can't believe Maddox is 9 years old. I remember pictures of he and Angie when he was 8 months old. Such a cute little boy. Happy. Angelina adopted him at 7 months old. Single Mom for 3+ years.. well time flies.

I think he is adorable.

I'm glad he had a great time. That was very nice of his parents. Maddox is very lucky, and I'm sure his parents really love him. I'm not a big fan of his mom, but she seems to be doing a great job when it comes to her children.

FYI - Disneyland can be rented for an evening. I don't know what the rate is these days, but when I looked into it a few years ago for a company I was with, it was about US$50K. For that you get admission for about 1000 of your closest friends.
