Braylond Edwards RIPS Cleveland

Former Browns Receiver SLAMS Cleveland

LeBron James made Cleveland sports fans absolutely miserable by signing with the Miami Heat. New York Jets receiver Braylon Edwards added salt to the wound on Sunday, bashing the city of Cleveland to Greg Bishop of the New York Times.

"There's nothing going on in Cleveland," said the former Cleveland Brown. "There's no real estate. There's no social life, no social networking."

Edwards was traded from the Browns to the New York Jets in October of last season.

He went onto say, "All the people who have something going on leave Cleveland. So Cleveland has nothing, and I came in there with a New York-type of essence"

However, former offensive lineman LeCharles Bentley fired back at Edwards via twitter. The former Ohio State Buckeye said "Nothing that comes out of his mouth or goes into surprises me."
