GOP Congressman To Sarah Palin: Get Out Of The Endorsement Business

Sarah Palin Karen Handel Endorsement
Sarah Palin Blasted By Georgia GOP Congressman Over Primary Endorsement Scheme

U.S. Congressman Jack Kingston (R-Georgia) says Sarah Palin should mind her own business and keep out of Peach State politics -- and politics in other states too.

The harsh criticism comes on the heels of the ex-Alaska Governor's decision to actively campaign for unsuccessful Georgia gubernatorial candidate Karen Handel who lost to Nathan Deal in the state's GOP primary runoff on Tuesday.

"Why Sarah Palin decided to get in the race is beyond me," explained Kingston in an appearance on "America's Morning News" with John McCaslin and Amy Holmes. "I don't know why she feels compelled to get into primaries all over the country, but fortunately Georgia voters are doing their own thinking on things like this."

When asked if he thought Palin should refrain from wading into primary election match-ups in general, the Georgia congressman responded, "I wish she will."

And the conservative congressman isn't the only member of the Georgia GOP community to express dissatisfaction with Palin's involvement in the state's political scene.

Prior to Tuesday's runoff, Georgia State House Speaker David Ralston (R) said, "I would want to know how long Governor Palin has known Secretary Handel and how long she's known Congressman Deal." (He added that his own endorsement of Deal was based on decades of friendship.)

"I don't do these things lightly," he said of the process that leads him to support a particular candidate. "I don't do them to write a book or get on a talk show."

Well, he was correct calling it her 'endorsement business' I am guessing that since she doesn't use the money donated to her PAC for political contributions, but keeps it herself, she must think that the PAC money is donated to pay her to endorse someone.

And of course, that keeps her in the public eye so that she can get paid for more canned speeches.

Its quite a little cottage industry she had going for her.

The Wizard of Oz Scarecrow is more intelligent than this woman and all the GOP is just figuring out what a liability she is?

Grizzly Mama's endorsements seem to be biting her back. She'll probably blame it on reporters for noticing and evoke some animal-mother term encouraging 'common sense' over facts and thought. Big news is, Republicans are more willing to criticize her than the holy R ush.

I welcome Palin and the Tea Party Animals to maintain their stronghold of the Republican Party for the next two election cycles. More Palin = Less Republican wins in November 10 and 12.

The problem is Palin simply cannot get enough of herself, even if the rest of us have had a bellyful of her. Her craven self-promotion and publicity chasing are seriously over the top. I hope she keeps on promoting GOP candidates - she's obviously the kiss of death to any campaign she becomes involved with. Hopefully she'll take a bunch of them down with her.

Palin had shelf-life & its fading fast. No wonder even the Republicans are running from her now. I guess Plain brand is no longer popular even among conservatives.

Death wisher Keith Halloran suspends campaign in NH
*
From RedHampshire.com comes word that Keith Hallaron has told WMUR that he will not actively campaign for the New Hampshire House:
Halloran at first called the criticism of his comment a “tempest in a tea party tea pot,” but he later issued a statement on Facebook apologizing for the post. Thursday, he said he was withdrawing from the race for District 7.

“After consulting with the secretary of state’s office, I am withdrawing as an active candidate for the New Hampshire House,” Halloran said in a written statement.
Another New Hamshire Dem, State Rep. Timothy Horrigan, had already resigned his seat and said that he would not seek re-election after ill-considered comments that he posted on Facebook as well.

Gov. Palin: Wikileaks is 'aiding/abetting the enemy'
*
Sarah Palin condemned Wikileaks on Twitter Friday morning for 'aiding/abetting the enemy':
Wikileaks staff-whomever's calling the shots there is unconscionably aiding/abetting the enemy;don't contribute to this. Speak out. Do right

Wikileaks: w/freedom comes responsibility.Free press protection gives no license to aid enemy;consider our own troops sacrificing for you...

Why anyone pays attention to Sarah Palin is a mystery to me. She is obviously an opportunist and is using all the blah, blah, blah to get her celebrity status up to where she can earn megabucks. She does have those kooky religious views also which certainly aren't main stream...so, I guess they are lame stream. ;-)

A couple bad apples in the Dem party saying hateful death statements against Sarah does not make the whole barrel bad. The Tea Party and Sarah said hateful things against Obama.

Obamas character in a shooting gallery. I did not see one Republican stand up and say that was horrible.

Nor or they going to. While all GOP may not be racist and unpatriotic, they certainly don't turn down the opportunity to capitalize off the hatred where the can.

Well, Fox has responded on their Foxnews.com....

Democrats Wishing Death Upon Sarah Palin?

Like all Democrats want her dead because they are afraid of her.

No YOU'RE afraid of the Pitbullagrizz. We just think she's ridiculous and dangerous to democracy and wolves.

"Notice how the audience laughs at the introduction of the topic. This is a GOP audience."

Gee, who saw this coming? It looks like some members of the GOP are starting to realize how politically poisonous the Tea Party and Palin really are.

I think Sarah is waiting to hear and read all the responses to the article on her butting out. She will then probably grab the one article that sides with her, then post on that. Funny Fox hasn't commented or had her respond to it. She cannot blame LSM because it was the Republicans who said this. Maybe she will disregard the whole article and comment on the article where someone wished she and Levi were on the plane.
Maybe she is a person who cannot accept humiliation and just ignores it. She is in a tough spot.

I'm remembering Tonya (after the kneecapping event) coming out to skate to the Jurassic Park theme - but not the pretty one that makes you think of flying birds, the one that sounds like a big ugly dinosaur lumbering across the screen on it's big old dinosaur feet getting ready to eat people. She looked like the clod she was set to music. I laughed. If she'd had on red pump skates and winked at the crowd....Sarah.
