We've all heard it in some form, but IBMers are taking the concept and applying to the thousands of systems at work across the globe, showing us how interacted they are.

On a smaller scale, think about how gridlock has a ripple effect within single cities: it adds up across the board: traffic congestion in the US costs 78 billion a year, 4.2 lost hours, 2.9 billion gallons of wasted gasoline. Not tom ention the effect that has on our air quality.
