Birther Queen Orly Taitz Smacked Down By Supreme Court On $20,000 'Frivolous' Litigation Fine

WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court has upheld a $20,000 fine against a leader of the movement challenging President Barack Obama's citizenship.

The high court on Monday refused to block a federal judge's October 2009 ruling that required California lawyer and dentist Orly Taitz to pay the $20,000 fine for filing a "frivolous" litigation. The judge said Taitz attempted to misuse the federal courts to push a political agenda.

Taitz sued in Georgia federal court on behalf of Army Capt. Connie Rhodes. Rhodes sought to avoid deployment to Iraq by claiming Obama wasn't born in the United States.

Justice Samuel Alito on Monday rejected Taitz's second request to block the sanctions. Justice Clarence Thomas had rejected the request earlier.

Hope this woman just goes away now instead of re-surfacing like a bad rash, and that the soldier who refused to deploy gets court-martialed.

Why Obama is refusing to present his Birth Certificate or anything else which might prove his eligibility?

Is it because there is nothing of substance stored in the Hawaiian archive?

He had presented picture of a different document called COLB. Irrelevant, even if it is not an outright forgery.

This COLB to the real Birth Certificate is like receipt for the driving classes to the real driver's license.

By his picture he looks like an immigrant. Hey let's see your birth certificate! Criminal background check also.

The crazies on the reich are dangerous. Lot's of theories about Oiley, dangerous woman who is spreading treasonous sedition to other countries against the POTUS.

Exactly! Obama was born on Krypton and rocketed to Earth as an infant by Jor-El moments before the planet's destruction. The pod landed in Friedberg, Germany, where a group of Amercian soliders, including Elvis, came across it. The baby Obama was shipped to an Army base in Hawaii, examined, and sent to live with a young, mixed race couple (the pod was shipped to Cape Canaveral). Elvis was about to reveal the secret in 1977, but a 16-yr-old Obama flew to Memphis, got a job at a local Burger King, and silenced him with a cynaide-laced Big Whopper.

This vintage film was produced by the US Military in the wake of WWII during a
wave of right-wing hysteria in America......

If you think Palin, Beck, Bachmann & Co. represent something new in America
...THINK AGAIN....Bush put us back 50 years.

This film was originally not intended for viewing by the public!

Thanks for the link. I have often tried to point the the similiarities between the neocon disinformation strategies to Nazi propaganda techniques. Perhaps the most disingenuous is the one that compares the Obama administration to the Nazis- but it's also classic: Accuse your opponent of what you yourself are guilty of.
Joseph Goebbels could have written Karl Rove's playbook. In fact, he probably did.

They should also fine her 20k for wasting their time. Then again maybe she'll keep them busy enough so they don't have time to figure out how to dismantle another good campaign law.

It's surprising to see the Supreme Court get anything right, these days. At least they realized Orly Taitz is a lunatic who abuses the legal system with huge numbers of frivolous lawsuits based on insane conspiracy theories. I'm especially surprised that Alito and Thomas are the ones dismissing her cases. They must be trying to prove that they are not right-wing extremists like her. Well, they haven't proven that, and their decisions in cases like Citizens United shows quite the opposite, that they are right-wing hacks who think the First Amendment does allow people and corporations to make unlimited political donations, but who don't think there is such a thing as separation of church and state in the First Amendment. Seeing some small amount of sanity from the 4 ultra-right-wing Supreme Court justices now and then is reassuring, but it is also dangerous because it makes them more credible figures and less easy to dismiss as fanatics like Orly Taitz.

funny, but it is Obama that is pushing this movement not Fox. Obama wants this to continue to try and hide the agenda he is pushing.

He doesn't have a hidden agenda. He talks about his centrist agenda all the time. You can easily find out more about his real agenda at http://www.whitehouse.gov. The only thing radical about it is how radically he is willing to compromise progressive principles in order to make failed efforts to appeal to conservative Republicans.
