Deion Sanders Lawsuit: Sued Over Recruiting Publication

Report: Deion Sanders Sued

Former NFL cornerback Deion Sanders is being sued for fraud in Texas, according to CourthouseNews.com.

The plaintiffs accused Sanders and others for "defrauding" them out $1.8 million. According to the report, Sanders and others persuaded the plaintiffs to invest in a publication that would help colleges recruit talented high school athletes.

The publication, PrimeTimePlayer Pages, was supposed to be sent to more than 500 colleges, but no school received it. The basketball edition was never even published.

Sanders, 43, will be eligible for the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2011. He currently works as a commentator on the NFL.
