Vince Vaughn Skydives At Chicago Air And Water Show (VIDEO)

VInce Vaughn, who called north suburban Lake Forest home before becoming a famous actor, jumped from a plane Saturday at Chicago's 52nd annual Air and Water Show.

Vaughn has been in Chicago this summer for the filming of The Dilemma, a new Ron Howard movie also starring Kevin James, Jennifer Connelly, Winona Ryder, Channing Tatum and Queen Latifah.

The actor did not seem afraid of Saturday's jump, probably because he was attached to the U.S. Army's Golden Knights--who have plenty of skydiving experience.

Two years ago, Bill Murray tandem-dived with the Golden Knights.

plane, I was only 13 or so at the time..
But I am determined to jump out of a plane before the end of summer

Tandem jumping is just plain cheating and can hardly be called a sky dive. It's kinda like a baby claiming to be walking when strapped to it's mommies back.

it's a jump from a plane in the sky with a freefall and a parachute deployment. so it's a skydive.

musta had a Very Large person jump with Vince, cos he is 6ft 4...not rail thin either...
