'Hymen Restoration' On The Rise In China

A growing number of Chinese women -- mostly in their 20s and about to get married -- are opting for a surgical procedure called "hymen restoration," which returns the hymen to its condition before it was ruptured, which typically occurs during first sexual contact but can also happen while playing sports or doing other strenuous activities.

There are phonies in every culture, country and gathering of humans. Thank goodness these hymen phonies are an infinitesimal percentage in the huge population of China. Chinese women are becoming more liberated and are some of the most charming and beautiful people on Earth.

I can see this as a good thing for the unfortunate victims of rape, at least the ones who were actual virgins. If this can give them back that feeling of control, then I support this in that light.

The point I don’t understand about this: “The men are not virgins”. Surely this would mean that those men had a slept with *gasp* a woman at some point? So, how can they demand that women be ‘pure’ when obviously they’ve de-pured a few themselves? Are they implying that the poor girls they’ve had sex with are unworthy of marriage? It certainly stinks a bit, that’s for sure.

I have the absolute perfect solution. First, all the women in the world declare that they are not virgins. The men will have to decide to stay single or marry a woman who is not a virgin, because that is the only choice. Eventually most of them will settle for marriage, after all they need someone to cook and clean and have their children. Problem solved!! At least for those women who have not been put to death for being unclean. Funny how the guys look at non-virgin women as not "clean" but do not apply the same criteria to themselves.
