Greta Van Susteren: Glenn Beck 'Should Move' Rally From Martin Luther King Spot

Greta Van Susteren says her Fox News colleague Glenn Beck should move his rally planned for the steps of the Lincoln Memorial on the anniversary of Martin Luther King's "I Have A Dream" speech there.

Beck's "Restoring Honor" rally, which will include Sarah Palin, is described as a "non-political event" and an opportunity to "celebrate America by honoring our heroes, our heritage and our future."

Beck has been criticized by civil rights leaders for his choice of date and venue.

And now Van Susteren is joining the chorus of critics.

"Yes he has a First Amendment right to do it...but what about the wisdom of it?" she wrote on her blog. "Glenn should move his event. It does not help heal the country on so many fronts if we poke a stick in eyes."

Van Susteren added an update that she likes Beck personally and was only raising the question of whether the venue and date are appropriate.

The thing that scares me the most is I remember him being revealed that when he was working on another network he ranted about how the American Health Insurance industry was horrible because he had dealt with it from a personal bases. http://www.cnn.com/2008/HEALTH/01/10/beck.healthcare/

How can I take this man seriously because he is now on Fox Network spewing all the things he does not because he is getting paid. Must be a lot to take such a 180. I call that hypocrisy at its finest which is shown on The Daily Show almost on a daily basis. It is like he forgets about video and You Tube exists. You say one thing it will be caught when you say the exact opposite later. He wants the attention and to sell his book. He is not truly concerned with the American people. Hell if got a job on MSNBC he probably would chill with Olbermann and help with the comments....

It is not liberal logic at all. You spew hate and tell people on a daily basis that certain people are acting in a certain way or bringing your country down that will create violence. He backs people like Sarah who talks constantly about Reload. What do you think she is talking about. Saying the President of the US is a Nazi all the time is not going to make people angry? He admits this so called "bringing america together" speech is about a new book he is putting out which is supposed to be what he is calling the new Bible. There are plenty of links out there verifying those words. I do not care what party you are with but if you keep pushing hatred, racism, and lies bad things happen.

When will the "right" wake up and realize they're being manipulated by communist China's greatest propaganda tool, Fox? The GOP through Fox is bent on destroying America and moving all jobs to China.

Let me connect the dots for you: Rupert Murdoch owns News Corp and Fox News. His young wife is from communist China. Rupert is a doddering old man of weakened intellect, who has allowed his wife, ingrained and trained by China's communist government, to dictate the direction of Fox. Why else would Fox be such fans of big business' continued push to relocate jobs to China? Why else would Fox promote the start of a war based on a lie, which the Chinese government has lent the U.S. billions of dollars to fund? Why else would Fox promote the Bush tax cuts during war time, if not to insure our continued reliance on loans from communist China? Why did Fox dedicate only 10 minutes of News Coverage to the end of major combat operations in Iraq and the return of our troops? Because this is not what Fox and Beijing want to happen! They want to keep us at war and poor! The right and Fox insist on weakening our federal government and infrastructure, making OUR government the enemy?! A weak federal government is EXACTLY what Beijing wants for the U.S. in order to dominate the 21st century.
