Bo Obama's Busy Summer (PHOTOS)

Bo Obama has been quite the busy pup over the last few months. He's traveled to Chicago, Maine and now Martha's Vineyard, and when he's at home in the White House, he roams the colonnade, picnics with members of Congress and waits for the President to finish his meetings. Sometimes he even has to soak up the sun on the South Lawn. To celebrate the dog days of summer, we present you with an album of what Bo's been up to lately.

So cute. Picture #8 killed me. Barack may be Pres. of the US, but Bo looks like he is the King of the US and not going to take any BS from anybody. He looks imperious and imperial. Hilarious.

He's one of the most handsome dogs I've ever seen. He's always ready for an adventure.

It's a tough job being First Pet. You gotta be cute all the time, gotta keep marking your territory down to a minimum. And look at how much trouble Helen Thomas got into; can't be heard barking in the wrong venues or at the wrong times.

Every time I see Bo, I am reminded that it was the late Senator Ted Kennedy who suggested a Portuguese Water Dog as a good White House pet!
