Joe Donnelly, Blue Dog Democrat, Takes Aim At Pelosi In Campaign Ad (VIDEO)

U.S. Congressman Joe Donnelly, a Blue Dog Democrat representing Indiana's second district, is out with a new campaign ad taking aim none other than House Speaker Nancy Pelsoi.

A narrator in the 30-second spot boasts that Donnelly "voted against Nancy Pelosi's energy tax on Hoosier families." Targeting the California Democrat over cap-and-trade is cited in promoting the incumbent lawmaker as "Indiana's most independent congressman."

Earlier this month, Donnelly took a shot at the House Speaker, as well as President Obama, in an ad zeroing-in on the issue of illegal immigration. When an image of the duo alongside House Minority Leader John Boehner flashed across the screen, the Blue Dog Democrat said, "That may not be what the Washington crowd wants, but I don't work for them, I work for you."

Blue Dog Democrats are the most deceptive people because they are elected as a Democrat and vote like a Republican.Their voters may not know that this so called Democrat is a Blue Dog and understand how they have voted against progress and against what President Obama has been trying to do for middle America.

Blue Dogs are worse than Republicans, at least with a Repub you'll always know where they stand (against everything Dems stand for). But with a blue dog, one minute they're on your side and then the wind changes direction and they are stabbing you in the back.

Social welfare programs benefit society. Corporate welfare programs benefit corporations. There is no such thing as a social welfare program benefiting corporations. This Donnelly is a member of the Party of Corporate Welfare, and needs to lose his Democrat membership. I hope he loses his reelection bid.

It will take some time,but the corporatist blue dogs need to be rooted out of the party like the cancer that they are!! Just think of what the President could have accomplished without having to deal wth these turncoats besides the republicvnt obstruction!! These clowns bare as much blame as the GOP for the stagnation in our economic recovery!!!

Don't worry...they'll be rooted out alright. But, I wouldn't count on their being replaced by progressives anytime soon. You'll be eating Jello in playing bingo in the retirement home cafeteria before the US will try an experiment like this again.

It seems the Cook Report has just downgrade the election chances of 10 Democrats. Eight of them are conservative Blue Dogs. Adam Green of PCCC thinks he knows why.
