While one incumbent lawmaker is out with a spot slamming her congressional colleagues as messy-faced children, a gubernatorial hopeful is taking to the showers in his first campaign ad of the election season to send a clean and simple message of distaste for negative messaging.

In other political advertising news, Florida Republican Rick Scott -- the self-funding millionaire taking on Bill McCollum in the state's gubernatorial primary -- dropped an astounding $5.1 million on a television ads in a single week before voters head to the polls.
