Anna Paquin Stephen Moyer Married

Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer got married on Saturday, Us Weekly reports. Pics of the wedding here.

The 'True Blood' couple wed at a private residence in Malibu, exchanging vows under a tent near the beach.

They announced their engagement last August, and have frequently spoken to the press about their onscreen vampire sex. Paquin announced she is bisexual in June.

Paquin and Moyer recently posed nude with 'True Blood' costar Alexander Skarsgard for the cover of Rolling Stone.

Congratulations to Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer. It must have been amazing for them to have their onscreen romance to become real.

It definitely detracts from the show for me--now I'll feel like a voyeur every time they disrobe.

Don't know why, but I love True Blood!! Anna looks even better this year and the episodes seem to have kicked up the "hot" factor. Nice work, sir...

I am no vampire fan in fact I think it is a gimmicky load of rubbish....I also dont think this marriage will work much past the True Blood series there is just something not quite right about these two however I wish you both luck.

Yeah this marriage is not going to work out, like a lot of bisexual women in straight relationships, she will leave him for a hot woman. They all do and I do understand.

This marriage will last for the duration of the run of their TV show, no longer. She may be sincere, but his attention span for women doesn't appear to be lengthy.

Do people really have nothing better to do than to worry about someone that no one should care about getting married? In the grand scheme of things, what does it matter? Is anyone going to look back a year from now and think "gosh, what an awesome marriage?"

Anna Paquin was such a cutie on her debut movie Xmen-1, while Ed looks ferocious on his role as a vampire on True Blood. Hopefully, they will have cute sons and daughters in the future. Reactions: http://bit.ly/9ZTphT

Anna was in the movie "The Piano" for which she won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress. That was seven years before "The X-Men".

Maybe it's the blonde hair that has some of us confused.

Apparently the private residence wasn't as private as they thought!

I predict that their marriage is outlived by this teenage vampire fad.

There is 1 teenage vampire on the show and half or dozen or more adult vampires. The craze you are then talking about is taking a little while to abate, going back by even conservative estimates to at least 1819 and Polidori's The Vampyre. That's barring folklore. Of course, if you want to trace it back to gay vampires, it's a little more short-lived as Carmilla by Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu, dating to only 1879. Dracula was 1897. Anne Rice, 1973. Count von Count on Sesame Street, also '73. You're right, vampire tales have no staying power.

You sort of missed the point. Regardless of the staying power of the vampire myth, there has been a huge surge in popularity amongst youth, particularly in the instance of the Twilight series. It seems like you're making a lot of assumptions through this comment.

I couldn't agree more. I don't see them growing old together, and not because he's a vampire, lol.
