CHINO VALLEY, Ariz. — Arizona authorities say 27 people have been booked on charges ranging from attempted murder to participation in a criminal street gang after shootings involving members of rival motorcycle gangs, the Vagos and Hells Angels.

Detectives estimate at least 50 rounds were fired Saturday during the shootings in the small community of Chino Valley, north of Prescott.

Yavapai sheriff's spokesman Dwight D'Evelyn says at least five people were shot but none of the wounds was life-threatening.

He says detectives are trying to locate one injured gang member who was helped away from the scene in an unknown vehicle.

The shootings brought dozens of Arizona law enforcement officers to the scene.

Seems the bikers need target practice, over 50 rounds fired and only 5 wounded.....

Shameful.

Then shooting from a motorcycle MUCH tougher than a normal drive-by shooting from a car.

Hell's Angels history goes back to WW-II. PTSD mixed with alcohol and drugs is a prescription for violence.

All kidding aside about the gang that couln't shoot straight, AZ is at the bottom of the US education barrel. To bad as Chino valley is one beatiful place with great people, and to have this breakdown land there.

50 rounds fired and 5 shot? So Hells Angels and the Vagos are bad shots... good to know.

You all really have no clue here. There is more to be said than "hope they were wearing helmets" or calling them gangs. You trust & believe the task force propaganda. They are our family members and friends. Most let down by rules, law and public.

Are you saying you actually know these people? If you do, maybe you should expand your horizons.

Gangs are the result of neglected neighborhoods with poor schools and services, compounded by broken homes and kids being inadequately parented. Or maybe they just like to fight.

What's wrong with being a motorcycle enthusiast as opposed to 1 percenter?

Nothing... I was commenting on the choice of picture for the article. I love bikes... I grew up on two wheels... my first "car" was a motorcycle and I raced motocross in my younger days.

50 rounds? And the street gang that executed Sean Bell also shot 50 rounds. No one is in jail for that murder.

Wasn't' "the street gang" that shot him the police? Which would be why no one is in jail for that murder.

When I saw the headline, I was really hoping it was in Sturgis. Then maybe they would ban the gathering there and the Lakota could finally have some peace at Bear Butte.

This never would of happened if we banned all guns. Ban guns and there will be no crime!

People who want to ban guns forget about the ancient world and things like bows, spears, swords, and more. At 10 to 15 feet, I'll take a sword over a gun any day.

Are we sure that these MC were actual citizens .Did anybody check there green cards? Maybe Arizona should only allow Motorcycle Gangs that are legal citizens that would stop this this of behavior.

Pardon my ignorance, but from what I understand, the Vagos gang has “hundreds of members in the US and Mexico and poses a serious criminal threat to those areas in which its chapters are located,” according to the US Department of Justice.
