Lady Gaga Thanks Fans For Twitter Crown

Lady Gaga's millions of fans have another title to call their Mother Monster: Queen of Twitter.

After steadily gaining on Britney Spears, who until recently was the most-followed user on the social-networking site, Gaga surpassed her fellow pop supernova over the weekend by landing over 5.7 million followers. At press time, Gaga's Twitter army clocked in at 5,726,168 deep, besting Brit, who had 5,696,275 followers. Just days ago, the chart-toppers were neck-and-neck, with Spears boasting 5,646,028 Twitter peeps to Gaga's 5,635,460.

I used to think she was just a quite homely girl that dressed up in odd clothes to get attention, but then I saw the tapes of 11 Dancing Old People and saw that old guy dancing to her tape. That was great dance music and the old guy was doing well by it. Now I feel I have to check her music out some time.

The Lady is undeniably quite talented. And I give her lots of cred for her approach and her mission.

True. I'm willing to admit actual talent if it exists. Miss. Germanotta (I refuse to call people by these fake, pretentious stage names) at least can write her own music proficiently play an actual instrument(s). I just hate this whole "I'll be weird for the sake of being weird" schtick. It's fine every once in awhile, but when it's your whole persona it gets old real fast. Being weird for the sake of being weird was played out in the 80's.

I've been listening to some of my Marvin Gaye collection while perusing the Post tonight, as I was wrapping things up the name headlined in this story caught my eye.

HP spends so much time and space on this person but when compared to that what I've been listening Lady Gaga is pure garbage.
