Tiger Woods Divorce FINAL: Split From Elin Legal, Done (PHOTOS)

Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren Woods have officially divorced.

People reports both Tiger and Elin were present as the divorce agreement was finalized at Bay County Circuit Court in Panama City, Fla., today.

The couple released in a statement:

"We are sad that our marriage is over and we wish each other the very best for the future. While we are no longer married, we are the parents of two wonderful children and their happiness has been, and will always be, of paramount importance to both of us."

The Associated Press confirms the news. More from the AP:

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (AP) -- Tiger Woods and his wife officially divorced Monday, nine months after his middle-of-the-night car crash outside his home set off shocking revelations that golf's biggest star had been cheating on his wife.

The divorce was filed in Bay County Circuit Court in the Florida Panhandle. The couple had married in October 2004 in Barbados and have two children, 3 and 1.

"We are sad that our marriage is over and we wish each other the very best for the future," they said in a statement released by attorneys. "While we are no longer married, we are the parents of two wonderful children and their happiness has been, and will always be, of paramount importance to both of us."

Terms of the divorce were not released, except that they will "share parenting" of their 3-year-old daughter, Sam, and 19-month-old son, Charlie.

Woods is to play this week at The Barclays in northern New Jersey.

The sex scandal cost him millions of dollars in corporate endorsements and forced him to take five months away from the game, including two months in therapy in a Mississippi clinic, when he was trying to save his marriage.

Elin is like waaa, he got me impregnated and I got $50 mil, and then waaaaa, he got me impregnated again and I got another $50 mil, and then waaa wont you all please feel sorry for me and my "he11" when there are like 4 BILLION people leaving in poverty and disease, with earnings of $1 per week with more work done in a DAY than per year for Elin.

What is the overarching message/lesson we have
learned from the Tiger Woods debacle America???

If you are AA and you choose to marry a woman who
is 'NOT' and subsequently you cheat on her, or otherwise
publicly embarrass her; Segments of society will view
such acts as Defiling a paragon and will treat you accordingly.
Your 'sins' will be judged by a jury not of your peers who
were predisposed to see you as arrogant and aloof simply
based on your success and their lack thereof.
Your transgressions will be out-sized and blown beyond
proportion by a mob out for their pound of flesh
.......and profit.

Until it gets in the way of daddy sleeping with another woman. Being horny always trumps parenthood? Father of the year tiger, father of the year...

I don't admire her. I wish her no ill and I am sure that it was a difficult time, but no more difficult than anyone else in the world that experiences marital or relationship breakdown. What is truly ridiculous is the amount of money that she will receive - I am sure that 100 million will "heal" her family pretty quickly. Perhaps some of the vast fortune that she has received can be put to some charitable use because she sure as hell won't need all of it. it is out of proportion with reality and is, frankly, nothing more than a "profit" from a sorry situation. It amounts to a penalty to Woods but is dressed up as being something else - let's be honest about it, he gets clobbered in the pocket by society because his behaviour is immoral. That is not what matrimonial settlements are supposed to represent.

an we just for one second focus on people who deserve praise for doing something brave, showed outstanding integrity or actually accomplished something truly heroic? Why must we as a society continue to idol a feckless, sex-crazed, self-entitled tool who slept with hundreds of women and accept his vile, debased behavior all because he can hit a little white ball over a grass hill better than most? I’m sorry, but I am sick of this whole “Tiger-this-and-Tiger’s-back, no-he’s not” crud! In a world that’s suffering and struggling there are true heroes that we can look to. Put them up on pedestals, talk about them incessantly and they will be worthy of our praise. Here’s a short list of some recent(not historic, although historically speaking there are many, I wanted to stay current) heroes, just to start things off:
