here is a TYPICAL drug bust / take-down of a PEACEFUL family, who 'got caught' with a miniscule amount of marıjuana in their home (for personal use).

we see a small army of cops in full SWAT gear, storm their way through the front door, gųns-a-blazing… then SHΟΟT_&_ΚILL the family's dog (you can hear the dog writhing in pain after being shοt, several times), which of course terrifies the blοοdy hell out of the entire family, including the couple's YOUNG CHILD (also seen in the police video).

so folks,
this is what YOUR tax dollars are responsible for…

state-sponsοred_terrοrısm of PEACEFUL citizens; in their OWN homes, just minding their own business, in bed asleep… perhaps enjoying a relaxing smoke after work.

then BAM… your life is turned upside-down, your young child is traumatized, surrounded by a SWAT team of heavily-armed thugs… and your beloved dog is shοτ ĐΕĄĐ.

THIS is our 'War on Drugs'

Stop the fookin double standard! Ok, let's get this straight. It's ok to have alcohol in the home. Which technically a child could get into, drink and maybe die from. It's ok to have firearms in the home, which many kids are killed from each year. But it's not ok to grow their own medicine? Which they have a license for??? What is the fookin point of having an mmj license if you can't grow it if you have kids???? WAKE UP AMERICA!! What if you have Valium or Xanax or Demoral or Percoset or whatnot in the medicine cabinet? A child could swallow those and die!!!

This is so messed up!

The cops show up for a DV call, and find that NO CRIME AT ALL has been committed. The cops leave, then decided over doughnuts or something that is just wrong that that family was allowed to grow their Marijuana, so the cops come back a few days later and grab the kids? BS!

If the children are in Danger the cops should be fired for leaving the kids in Danger for days while they looked up a way to arrest the parents. But that's only if they manage to prove that a houseplant is harmful to children.

Coming home drunk, screaming at the wife and kids, that's ok. Or staying at the bar until it closes, and not seeing them at all, that's ok. David Hasselhoff, his kids begging him not to drink anymore while he flounders on the ground with a hamburger, that's ok. Growing a plant on your own property, that's grounds for taking your kids from you. This is one sick country.

you notice when a child is harmed while in states care nothing happens to the man or women who decided that the child be removed from the parents home ! nothing Why ? I ask

I agree some people are unfit but on the whole most parents do the best they can !

have your lights turned off they now call that child abuse and want to remove your children from the home why not just pay the bill for these struggling parents have the water shut off . again they want to remove the child from the home !! because that,s child abuse . child abuse,s definitions have grown to include things that do not harm children !! Why I ask have they included such thing,s ?

is it not more harmful to remove a child from his parents home under such circumstances .
pain and anguish is all that this cause,s for both the parents and the children !

Wow. This is a sad, sad story. The thought of a couple losing their kids for growing medicine makes me physically ill. If you are going to take someone's kids away, you better make sure they deserve it.

The laws must change.
