Whitney Thompson Bares All For Love Your Body Day, Addresses 'Top Model' Waist Video (PHOTOS)

The winner of "America's Next Top Model" season 10, plus-size model Whitney Thompson, has stripped down for Love Your Body Day and spoken out about the recent video showcasing a "Top Model" contestant's tiny waist. Thompson explained in a press release, "Tyra supports women of all sizes as long as they are healthy. I do not fault her for her reaction to seeing such a tiny waist. She had a similar reaction to seeing [contestant] Toccara [Jones]' enormous breasts. Tyra remains a leading figure in the fight for body equality in the fashion industry."

As the celebrity host of the Hollywood Chapter of the National Organizations for Women's 5th annual Love Your Body Day on October 23, 2010, Whitney Thompson has taken it all off and posed alongside the event's creator Chenese Lewis. Thompson also serves as an ambassador for the National Eating Disorder Association (NEDA) and Lewis acts as an ambassador for the Binge Eating Disorder Association (BEDA).

Actually in 2008 the Centers for Disease Control found the 'overweight' category of the BMI tables to be the healthiest--actually resulting in 86,000 FEWER deaths than the other categories. Even morbid obesity causes fewer deaths than being underweight (approx. 25,000 versus 35,000). Maybe you should not find the underweight models appealing as they are the most likely to die of ill health--and that is frankly just not that sexy.

These women are sooooo SEXY!!!!!!!!!!!! I love plus-sized women!!!!!!!!!! Bigger is better in my opinion. And whoever said that precious thing SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That wasn't cool. Chenese's breasts are obscene in the photograph above. Couldn't they have done a different pose? Something more about natural beauty than a shot amplifying how huge Chenese's breasts are? And how about for "Love Your Body" day, they throw in a flat-chested, skinny girl? Flat-chested girls need to "love their bodies" too so they don't all want to put silicone in their chests. What a double standard? Curvy women beat the drum about "real" women embracing all their curves. Guess what? Some real women don't have a lot of curves and have slim hips and flat chests and no matter what, don't gain any weight in their T&A and hips. Maybe just their bellies. They are "real" women too!!!

So true. There is a major double standard. If a woman is thin, they accuse her of an eating disorder. If she is "plus sizes", they tell her to embrace her body. Real women come in different sizes and body shapes. Why couldn't they feature a variety of body types?

Soft porn, really? We must be looking at different pictures. Neither lady is groping the other, their intimate bits are more covered than most 'clothed' pictures we see of celebrities on this (and other) site(s) and they are shot from appropriate angles. Honestly I don't see anything wrong with them but to each their own.
