common people how about all the hoax and spam emails that coming into your mail box daily? why yahoo, hotmail, gmail and other web-based email clients didn't do anything about that? As posted on the article, many other death threads been posted to FB and I believe on other social networking as well. With 500 million users worldwide it's simply overwhelmed for FB to screen the posts one by one.

The "I want my drUgZ legalized crowd" exploit the murder of 3 people on Facebook, because they don't have their voices heard.

I never really understood why people use facebook. All it is, is a place where people volunteer all of their personal information to crazy people and criminals and whomever else wants to be nosey or find out things about people that they wouldn't normally have access to.

Then, other sites, like this one, want you to link up with them. Oh yeah, that's a good idea, no thanks. I'm going to make it extremely difficult and annoying, on my part, for these cyber criminals and Big Brother to get their rockets off.

Call me paranoid. That's okay. At least I know my face is not on any list on FB.

Facebook disallows pot legalization advertising yet has a 'Kill List'. Fancy that.

Thx! Just clicked to make that very point. Way to get your priorities straight, Facebook.

This is horrible. I hope they catch the people who are doing this. Makes you nervous because you never know who is out there, but also the police originally thought it was a joke

This is so outrageous, I am going to block Mark Zuckerberg and post ads on Facebook for marijuana legalization! Oh wait, Facebook doesn't let you block Mark Zuckerberg or post marijuana legalization ads, but it DOES allow you to post lists of people to kill, who then get killed. I'm glad they have their priorities straight... the funny thing is right under this comment box, the FIRST checkbox here says "Post to Facebook". It's amazing how many negative stories about Facebook appear on Huffington Post, yet Huffington Post closely integrates itself with Facebook. That makes no sense to me, but what do I know? I just want to block Mark Zuckerberg, post a pot leaf as my profile image, and protest Facebook's allowing people to use its services to coordinate mass murder.

Both this article & the 'herb' article went through WITH the artwork. I wonder how long it will take to get scrubbbed.

Well, Mark Zuckerberg runs the most successful social networking website in the history of cyberspace, that is, until next month, when someone does it better than him...or they hack his website and crash it...

I've thought about doing that... it sure does seem like the network connection stays tied up for a long time when I navigate to Facebook, no observable screen activity...has anyone ever looked at the website code to make sure it's 'clean'? I read that website operators can get a fair amount of data out of people's machines, once they're connected...but they wouldn't try to exploit a situation like that, would they?

Facebook is like a kudzu vine. It is gradually taking over every corner of the web, and it leaves a lot of human misery wherever it plants itself.

Thank you. It is reassuring to know that I am not alone in my perceptions of the menacing quality of this thing that seeks to draw us all in and offer up the most candid details of our lives and identity. It is beyond the imaginations of Aldous Huxley and George Orwell.

Fanned and faved back.

Facebook grew on hype by friendly media and breeding now on controversy after controversy. It loves it. It pretends it is not aware of whats going on but every ip, computer id and network id are logged. Facebook should provide these information to cops to track these killers. Anything short of it or denying that it have that info is obviously wrong.

Facebook has never cared about privacy, online defamation, suicides from cyber bullying, or anything else outside of their own bottomless greed.

As usual, a sensationalist misleading headline. Turns out they are gangsters with drug gangs--which is far more relevant than their ages. Kids that age are gunned down every week right here in the US in the drug wars. Sadly, this is common right in our own big cities--the only twist is listing the "hit list" on Facebook. I guess that's not objectionable content to Facebook because it doesn't involve sex--just murder.

Oh. Murder is ok as long as the victms have a criminal record?

Think again. Or perhaps for the first time.
