Madonna Hijacks Miu Miu Shoot, Teaches Models Some Moves (VIDEO)

Madonna hijacked Miu Miu's autumn/winter campaign shoot and ended up directing the label's film advertisement, Elle UK reports. The pop singer and "Material Girl" designer had stopped by the set to meet photographers Mert Atlas and Marcus Pigott for dinner, and, as model Ginta Lapina recalls, "We were supposed to shoot a video, so Madonna said she wanted to direct it. They said she could do it but they weren't going to pay her and she started laughing. She put on her iPod and taught us moves and we shot the video for two hours."

The short film stars Lapina, Lindsey Wixson, Siri Tollerod and Daphne Groeneveld showing off the dress so nice that it was featured on four magazine covers in the same month. Check it out and see if you can spot Madonna's influence behind-the-scenes.

After reading all of these posts regarding this video and story I had to say something. First, what's with the shaved eyebrows? Madonna did that look when she had the Erotica CD. Second, they don't look cute and lastly, how old are these girls? Oh yea, who does Madonna think she is taking over a video shoot? That was not cool. I mean, wasn't she just a visitor? With the end product here, I didn't really like it. Not because she directed. I just didn't like it.

I'm not sure what the model's name is but the girl with the cleft chin and gap in her teeth looks so strikingly beautiful. In our perfection obsessed society I love seeing women whose "imperfections" combine perfectly.

Um, I think it's pretty refreshing if the fashion industry uses imperfections in any way whatsoever. The rest of the time we complain about the over-perfected ideals.

What a great fun video! Fashion SHOULD be fun. Im proud to say Lindsay W is Kansas native :). Also, Ginta Lapina has THE most beautiful face ive ever seen.
