Vote Again 2010: Why You Should Hit The Polls

Today is a huge day for youth politics. An unprecedented coalition of youth groups and media partners have come together to create a social media program unlike anything the youth movement has ever seen: http://www.voteagain2010.com

Vote Again 2010 consists of more than 30 youth organizations and media partners organizing to get young people to the polls (again) in 2010. Partners include The Sierra Student Coalition, Young Invincibles, Change.org, The Young Turks and HuffPost College.

As a part of their efforts, today the groups announced their first large initiative, the Vote Again Video Contest.

The contest kicked off this morning with the release of a promo video directed by Jason Pollock, director of "The Youngest Candidate," a feature film about teenagers who run for political office. The video also features YouTube celebrities Tay Zonday (of "Chocolate Rain" Fame), Brittani Taylor, & Joey Anderton.

Why are you voting again in 2010? You could win a $5,000 grand prize -- to be awarded in late October -- by submitting your own video here.
