Looking for the ultimate to-die-for meal? We took this question literally and asked some of LA's top food bloggers what would they want their last meal to be. Some thought we meant last meal in LA, while others realized this would be their last meal on Earth, which would happen to take place in LA. Got that? OK, good. Here is what they had to say...

Elena's Greek Armenian Cuisine
1000 S Glendale Ave, Glendale, CA 91205

"I wouldn't suddenly splurge on previously unattainable restaurants like Urasawa or Cut, just to say I'd eaten there. Instead, I'd opt for the restaurant that's consistently satisfied me for multiple milestones: Elena's Greek Armenian Cuisine. The family-run Glendale restaurant debuted the year I was born and continues to produce the city's best kebabs, grape leaves, lentil soup and falafel. To me, all of those dishes are incredibly comforting."

Each entrée would recognize a part of my life.
Red rice and sausage - my childhood summers in Charleston, SC and the first dish I tried to recreate by myself.
A half rotisserie chicken from the Wienerwald - growing up a military brat in Germany
Crawfish, boiled, with red potato and corn - college years in Louisiana
And a bowl of ice cream from Swensens - a special moment from my childhood with my favorite aunt.

The name of the seafood soup at Natalie Peruvian is Parihuela. I didn't realize it was going to be a direct quote. Otherwise I would have named it at the time of writing.

Cowboy ribeye with lobster mashed potatoes, fresh horseradish on the side and garlic-roasted string beans. And a negroni. Oh you've got me hungry now!

My last meal in LA would have to include something Mexican. Maybe a breakfast burrito, egg, bacon, and cheese, as well as something from Panda Express, like one of their spring rolls, and a shake from In 'n Out. Vanilla. I could also go for something like Korean BBQ, but only if it included the shake. I love this question.

This is O.C., not L.A., but I'd take the Prime Rib with all the fixins at Gulliver's. Only I'd do it at least eight years ago. It's kind of hit-and-miss these days.
.
Oh heck, it's my last meal so I'd also have a Lemon Pepper Steak.

Are you telling me no one would opt for BBQ -- say, Smokehouse or Baby Blues?

Blasphemy!
