The saintly and equally funny Stephen Merchant plays the straight guy very well. He just sits there and waits as Ricky laughs. What made me really laugh while watching the clip is that I can remember the scenes from either The Office or Extras. Very funny! Who else but Ricky & Stephen would get Kate Winslet to dress up like a nun and teach someone how to dark dirty over the phone. OMG! That was the funniest scene ever! Catch it on YouTube. Brilliant!

He is without doubt the one of the funniest and most talented comedians of our generation. If you get a chance you should listen to his Podcasts 'The Rickey Gervais Show" on iTunes aas well and get acquainted with Stephen Merchant and the legendary Karl Pilkington - pure joy!

he was the best part of the Emmy's last night....and he barely did anything. He is just fun-ny! That wonderful english sense of humor and delivery....and of course....that laugh.

the mel gibson joke was hysterical only because of his time and delivery. 10 seconds of comedy perfected.

I just love this guy. If you were to do a compilation of say, Boehner- well we would have a drastically different video. In a time when many are trying to preach doom and gloom just to further their agenda, it is perfect to see another human, just laughing. Being happy. Enjoying life.
