Ending prohibition is the only way to stop the violence in Mexico. Ending prohibition will solve many of our economic problems. Ending prohibition will add tax revenue to every government that taxes drugs. Ending prohibition will save governments money in incarceration and prosecution costs. Ending prohibition will create legitimate businesses and jobs which are badly needed right now. Ending prohibition MAKES SENSE!

The only way it doesn't make sense is if a person is a control freak. Kinda like the bagpugnicans. Alcohol prohibition was terminated primarily over a need for additional tax dollars. Once some state, any state, decriminalizes pot, taxes it, and the revenue from that tax becomes public knowledge, the flood gates of legalization will burst open.

The wave of crimes carried out by the mafia for their illegal alcohol businesses also played a major factor in legalization. There are SO many reasons to end prohibition.

Not much of a story, reddit gets some print without any costs, exposes its name to the techo savvy, which are people that in general support ending prohibition, it's a great decision for them. Now, Conde Nast, that's a different story. Whether they are free to reject this advertising or not, as it is political speech, is a question for a different person. As far as I'm concerned? I won't be renewing my subscription after 12 years. People who are against government oppression, people that choose cannabis instead of alcohol, and others travel, too. We're not all glassy eyed stoners that sit on the couch all day. I wonder if Conde Nast is going to start rejecting advertising from Portugal, the Netherlands, Mexico, etc., countries in which cannabis use it legal or tolerated? Or will they be hypocrites, like the rest of the pro-prohibition crowd?

Listen, I am on the Colorado Ballot this November 2nd for the US Senate as “Unaffiliated.” I will be the historical first “Unaffiliated” US Senator.

Please check out my website, but seriously, I will fight to “Stop the Insanity, Fix the economic mess and end the free rides.” As far as it goes for you and me, I will personally write and fight to get the bill you SHOULD be concerned about, it will simply say:

“Remove Marijuana(Cannabis) from Schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act (21 U.S.C. § 812b).”

I was on the law committee for NORML at WSU in 1976, I know this fight has gone on for 30+ years. In 1970, Cannabis was placed on Schedule I in 2011 it can be taken off.

It does not matter if you vote, if you live in Colorado, but you have to care and fight with me for this. I am asking you now to TAKE ACTION. I know times are hard, look, I am out each day hitting the pavement. Since May I have seen fifteen thousand plus people, toe-to-toe, face-to-face, eye-to-eye on the serious issues we face. I am a fighter, but I need your help.

Prohibition of the use of recreational drugs is a violation of the US Constitution.
